Hello Everyone,

 North Arlington, NJ, January 18th 2025—The former North Arlington Council President/ DNC Delegate. Albert Granell has lived in Bergen County for over 38 years. He has held several positions within Bergen County. As a former Councilman and Council President in North Arlington from 2007 to 2009 and again in 2013 thru 2015.

 In 2008, 2012, and 2016. He also has had the honor of serving on the New Jersey State Democratic Committee and served as a delegate and member of the NJDSC. Serving on the Rules Committee attending the DNC convention in 2008 in Colorado, 2012 as a member of the DNC- NJDSC member in Charlotte and again in 2016 in Philadelphia as a delegate to the DNC and member of the NJDSC committee.  He has also served as District 36 Vice President.

Prior to serving on the governing body. Albert served on the local North Arlington Planning board. He has been an active member and first responder as a member of the North Arlington CERT Team for over 14 years (Community Emergency Response team). He is also a member of the Bergen County CART Team (Bergen County Animal Response team). During his time on the governing body Albert served on all the borough liaisons roles during his six years serving in North Arlington.  From Recreation, veterans, public safety, library, and finance. As finance chair. Albert served North Arlington well by advocating for North Arlington in getting grants and funding to North Arlington from a state and federal level by working with officials at that level.  He successfully fought the Encap housing scheme in South Bergen. Locally he helped restore fiscal responsibility to local budgeting in North Arlington while increasing the stipend to recreation successfully and other locally supported North Arlington community groups supported by the borough.

Albert currently is a member of the Bergen County Democratic Committee for North Arlington. He is married. His wife Sharon have two children Adam and Lex. He is a Technology Cloud Platform Engineer working at UPS since 1989.

With your help, he is hoping to bring the common-sense government that worked in North Arlington to Bergen County and working on the issues that matter to the taxpayers of Bergen.
